Terms and Conditions for Live Illustration Services
1. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable booking fee of [insert amount or percentage] is required to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than [insert timeframe, e.g., 14 days] before the event.
Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If the client cancels the booking, the deposit will not be refunded.
Cancellations made within [insert timeframe, e.g., 7 days] of the event may require full payment.
If the event is rescheduled, the artist will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.
3. Event Requirements
The client must provide:
Adequate space for the artist to work comfortably
The artist is not responsible for delays caused by poor working conditions.
4. Service Duration
The service will be provided for the agreed number of hours as per the selected package.
If the event runs late or additional hours are requested, this will be subject to availability and charged at an hourly rate of [insert rate].
5. Artistic Style
By booking, the client acknowledges and accepts the artist’s unique style. No refunds or revisions will be provided based on stylistic preferences.
6. Guest Numbers
The number of illustrations completed will depend on factors such as guest count, complexity, and event flow. The artist does not guarantee a specific number of illustrations.
7. Conduct
The artist reserves the right to cease work without refund if they feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or subject to inappropriate behaviour.
8. Travel and Expenses
Travel within [insert distance] is included. Additional travel may incur extra charges, which will be agreed upon in advance.
9. Use of Artwork and Images
The artist retains the right to photograph and share artwork and event images for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Liability
The artist is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond their control.
11. Agreement
By paying the booking fee, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
Please ensure all details are confirmed prior to the event date.
You must not be enquiring for a free service if you already have a live illustrator at your event and are hoping for me to take their place
Please be aware that whilst I have been doing art for a long time, this adventure is new to me and I am unsure how many of your guests I will be able to paint in a busy event environment
I can stay at your event for 6 hours
I do not need anything but a table and a chair that can fit two people
I will have company, although I am the sole artist for Moment Muse, I will have someone besides me who is equally as friendly. We both would love to chat with you and your guests.
You must be based in Hertfordshire or London. This is only for the free service, future events can be all across the UK.
